Dusk (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a real estate photography application that helps agents capture, edit, and deliver professional listing photos. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using Dusk, you agree to the practices described here.

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number via our authentication provider, Clerk. This information is used solely to identify your account and communicate with you about your photos and orders.

Property and shoot data

We store the property addresses and shoot records you create in the app. This data is tied to your account and used to organise your photo deliveries.

Photos

Photos you capture in the app are uploaded to our secure cloud storage for editing. Edited photos are delivered back to your account. Your photos are never shared with other users or third parties.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or banking details. Stripe’s privacy policy governs how payment data is handled.

Device identifiers

We collect a push notification token from your device to send you alerts when your edited photos are ready.

Location data

When you create a new property, the app uses your device’s location to suggest a nearby address. This data is used only in the moment to auto-populate the address field and is not stored on our servers.

Motion and sensor data

During photo capture, the app uses your device’s motion sensors to display a level indicator. This data is processed entirely on-device and is never stored or transmitted.

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate your account and keep it secure
• Deliver your edited photos and manage your credit balance
• Send push notifications when finals are ready
• Respond to support requests
• Improve the reliability and performance of the app

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Your account data and photos are stored in Supabase, a secured cloud database. Photos are deleted from intermediate processing storage after delivery. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorised access.

Dusk uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Clerk — authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Supabase — database and photo storage
• AutoHDR — HDR photo processing
• Dropbox — file storage and archival

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information and property records are deleted within 30 days. Photo files in cloud storage are removed when the associated property is deleted.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us at the email address below. We will respond within 30 days.

Dusk is intended for professional use by real estate agents and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email to the address on your account. Your continued use of Dusk after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
